High school graduation celebrations

School colors are a useful starting point, but the graduate’s own style can guide the final palette. For an at-home party, one well-placed backdrop can serve portraits and cake photos without taking over the room. Include the graduate’s name and preferred year treatment in the brief.

College graduation parties

A college celebration may call for a more understated dinner setting or a bolder group-photo display. Marquee numbers can make the year readable, while balloon garlands add shape around the rental pieces. Ask about power and footprint requirements before deciding where the installation will go.

School-event installations

For a school-hosted reception or recognition ceremony, consider entrances, stages and photo areas separately. Share school approval procedures, vendor access rules and the event schedule. Balloon placement must keep exits, accessible routes and staff supervision sightlines clear.

Arches, columns & year displays

An arch gives guests a recognizable arrival point, columns can mark a stage edge, and a backdrop supports posed photographs. The right choice depends on how the event flows. Avoid placing the only photo destination directly in a busy entrance, especially when multiple families arrive together.

Outdoor graduation planning

Backyard and campus celebrations need a weather-aware plan. Tell us about the surface, shade, nearby power and any restrictions on anchoring. Sunlight, heat and wind can affect balloons, so discuss an indoor or sheltered alternative rather than relying on a guaranteed outdoor duration.

Frequently asked questions

Can you use our school colors?

Share official references or a sample. We will discuss available balloon shades and approve the palette rather than assume an exact material match.

Can you include the graduation year?

Ask about marquee number rentals or a custom sign. Specify the year, available space and power access; the selected pieces and personalization need confirmation.

Can a school book several installation areas?

Yes, send a plan marking each area and its purpose. The proposal can separate entrances, stages and photo points so scale, access and installation timing are clear.
