Choose the Proksa space, not merely the park name
Berwyn Park District describes Proksa Park as a multi-use destination with an Activity Center, three picnic groves, courts, ball diamonds, gardens, ponds and a creek. Its Activity Center is offered for weddings, parties and community gatherings. Naming the reserved component matters: a supplier sent only to 'Proksa Park' still needs to find the correct event space. Include the booking name and a marked arrival point when requesting balloon decor and event rentals.
Give an indoor gathering its own visual center
For an Activity Center reception, retirement celebration or organization meeting, start with a photograph of the actual room rather than the park landscape. Mark the speaking position, serving area and guest seating before selecting a balloon backdrop. Ask the center which entrance vendors should use and whether any neighboring program spaces remain active. A decoration scheme should support the room's function without spilling into offices or preschool circulation.
Keep the picnic identity separate from public amenities
With three groves and several recreational features, guests need more direction than a color scheme. Put the grove identifier on invitations and consider a modest welcome display inside the approved gathering area. Do not turn a path toward the ponds or playground into a photo queue. Ask the district how the selected grove is delineated and what decoration supports are acceptable before treating trees or nearby structures as attachment points.

Frequently asked questions
Should our delivery notes say Activity Center or picnic grove?
Yes, use the exact reserved space. The official Proksa listing includes both the rentable Activity Center and three picnic groves. Add the booking contact and an annotated map so the delivery destination does not depend on finding whichever gathering is visible first.
Do the posted Activity Center office hours establish party access?
No. The park page publishes Activity Center hours, but your rental agreement should establish event and supplier access. Confirm decorating and collection arrangements with staff, especially for a weekend celebration, rather than interpreting office hours as a rental schedule.
