Give Lions Park celebrations a home base
DeKalb Park District places Lions Park at 700 West Taylor Street and links its shelter rental from the park page. Begin with the actual shelter booking, then decide where guests will eat, take photographs and join activities. Keeping those functions legible is particularly helpful when some attendees come for conversation and others use the recreational amenities. A single well-positioned display can identify the group without enclosing the park.
Keep the photo queue away from recreation
The listed basketball and volleyball areas make a sports-themed company gathering plausible, but a photo backdrop should not become an obstacle beside play. Ask the district which part of the shelter surroundings your reservation covers. Mark both the installation footprint and the space people need to stand for photographs. Leave the walking route and access toward fishing areas out of your proposed décor zone.
Coordinate games with the food and welcome area
The park page mentions baggo and horseshoes as available game equipment and lists a barbecue grill and picnic tables. Confirm current equipment arrangements separately from the balloon order. A useful plan gives games their own activity space while keeping refreshments and the welcome display together at the shelter. Tell us whether the display is primarily for identifying the group, award photographs or a dedicated celebration table.

Frequently asked questions
Does Lions Park have a shelter-rental starting point?
Yes. The DeKalb Park District Lions Park page links a shelter rental option. Use that district process to confirm your date and assigned area; listing the park on a décor request does not create a reservation.
What should a Lions Park corporate picnic plan show?
Show the reserved shelter, food tables, planned games and photo area on one sketch. Because the park lists several recreational amenities, clarify which activities are part of your arrangement and which surrounding areas must remain accessible to other visitors.
