Read the Itasca Waterpark booking scope carefully

The district's rental page distinguishes birthday party areas, private waterpark rentals and group outings. It also identifies the Hideaway indoor room as a separate item rather than automatically including it in an entire-facility rental. That matters if you are imagining an indoor cake table, welcome backdrop or weather contingency. Confirm the spaces in writing before treating a room as available for decoration or guest shelter.

Keep décor in the approved gathering area

For a celebration during public swim hours, ask which reserved party area is yours and how people enter it. A photograph station should not turn a circulation route into a queue or extend into pool activity. Provide a current image of the designated area and ask the waterpark staff about permitted balloon types and support methods. The public rental page does not itself grant unrestricted decoration permission.

Count attendees by the venue's booking method

The party information says everyone entering the facility counts as a party guest. That makes a poolside celebration different from a dinner where only seated diners may be counted. Clarify the expected swimmers, non-swimming relatives and other attendees with staff. Separately ask how outside decorators are admitted and scheduled; do not assume an installation crew follows the same admission arrangement as invited guests.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Hideaway room included when renting the whole waterpark?

The district's page lists the Hideaway room separately and says it is not included in the entire-facility option. Confirm it explicitly if your balloon display, food service or backup plan depends on having that indoor room.

Can a company picnic use the waterpark rental options?

The district specifically names company picnics among the uses for private waterpark rentals. Ask staff which pool areas, gathering spaces and access arrangements suit your group before developing décor; advertised event suitability is not confirmation of your date or installation permission.
