Cambridge Lakes permits balloons, but mounting needs a specific plan
Cambridge Lakes Community Association lists balloons among acceptable decorations, alongside blue painter's tape and flameless candles. Its restrictions also broadly prohibit affixing decorations with nails, staples, tape or other substances. Rather than interpreting those statements as permission to tape any surface, submit the exact installation photograph and mounting proposal to the Community Manager. These are Cambridge Lakes room-rental conditions, not rules for every Pingree Grove residence, business or event venue.
Keep the celebration inside its room reservation
The association says room-rental guests cannot use the pool or other recreation amenities; bathroom access is the stated exception. Plan photographs, refreshments and recognition moments within the authorized room instead of spreading activities across the Community Center. Put the backdrop, guest seating and serving route on one layout. Ask staff to confirm supplier entry and the precise booked space before adding furniture or a separate arrival installation.
Distinguish balloon decor from inflatable play
The published rules allow balloons but prohibit bounce houses and other inflatable play areas. They also exclude glitter, confetti and sparklers, so a festive backdrop should not depend on loose scatter materials or special effects. Send uncertain decoration ideas for manager review with an exact photo. Confirm the current rules and removal arrangements, and assign cleanup responsibilities so the room can be returned as the agreement requires.

Frequently asked questions
Can any Pingree Grove resident reserve a Cambridge Lakes room?
No. The association restricts reservations to Cambridge Lakes residents who have Community Center access, not everyone with a Pingree Grove address. Confirm the host's eligibility and accepted event use with the rental contact before commissioning a room-specific design.
Does the acceptable-materials list approve every taped balloon garland?
No. Blue painter's tape appears on the acceptable list, but the same page restricts affixing decorations. Ask the Community Manager to approve the exact surface and mounting method. A photo of the proposed installation makes that inquiry more useful than a generic request for balloons.
