Follow the operator, not just the River Grove address
The village identifies River Front Park and Gazebo at 8701 West Grand Avenue, the American Legion Recreation Center at 8664 West Grand Avenue, and Trumbull Park at 2311 North Leyden Avenue. It expressly names Veterans Park District as Trumbull's owner and manager. These distinctions determine where an organizer should seek event and décor approval; a municipal directory does not create one shared rental policy for all three locations.
Keep River Front Park décor within the organizer's allocation
The village describes River Front Park and Gazebo as a setting for festivals and summer concerts along the Des Plaines River. If your company or organization is participating in an established event, get an assigned display area from that event's organizer. A sponsor backdrop should not occupy the gazebo approach or imply that a public gathering belongs to one exhibitor. Ask about nearby activity and the approved removal arrangement.
Do not turn school-program access into a private-event assumption
Rhodes School appears on the village's facility page because its gyms and fields support specified recreation programs. That listing is not a general invitation to decorate school property for a private reception. If your celebration follows a program or game there, ask the school and organizer what social gathering is authorized. Keep any proposed photo area within their agreed space instead of assuming a hallway or field edge is available.

Frequently asked questions
Who approves an event at Trumbull Park?
River Grove's facility page identifies Trumbull Park as owned and managed by Veterans Park District. Confirm the correct reservation and decoration process with that operator, even if you first discovered the location through the village's recreation directory.
Are the two Grand Avenue event locations interchangeable?
No. The American Legion Recreation Center is listed at 8664 West Grand Avenue, while River Front Park and Gazebo is at 8701. Include the precise name, address and event area so suppliers do not confuse an indoor program location with the park.
