Distinguish Riverdale's shelters, fieldhouse and recreation center
The district's booking directory identifies the Recreation Center at 13700 S. Eggleston Avenue, Ivanhoe Field House at 14401 S. Stewart Avenue and two separate Riverdale Park shelter listings. The directory footer has another address for the Office and Equipment building. Those are not interchangeable delivery instructions. Ask the host to forward the actual facility confirmation so the balloon design and any rental equipment are planned for the right room or outdoor area.
Use the room listing, not the district footer
For an Ivanhoe event, establish whether the reservation is for the fieldhouse or its separately listed small room. A smaller room may call for a compact celebratory focal point rather than a broad backdrop and extra furniture. If the booking is at the Recreation Center, suppliers need the Eggleston Avenue address. Copying the office address from the website footer can send equipment to the wrong building.
Give the shelter crew a visual identifier
Both Riverdale Park shelter entries use the same street intersection, so attach a map pin or current photograph identifying Old versus New Shelter. Ask which approach the district approves for unloading and how close equipment can be carried to the setup position. Keep guest seating and public movement visible on the layout. A specific shelter reservation should not be treated as permission to decorate both structures.

Frequently asked questions
What address is listed for Riverdale's Recreation Center?
The district facility directory lists 13700 S. Eggleston Avenue. Its footer shows the Office and Equipment building on Ivanhoe Drive, which is a different destination. Use the facility confirmation and approved entrance for delivery rather than a general district contact address.
How do we specify an outdoor Riverdale Park booking?
State whether the agreement names the Old Shelter or New Shelter at 138th and Wentworth. Add a marked photograph or location pin and the approved setup area. The shared intersection alone does not tell a decorator which shelter the host has actually reserved.
