Distinguish the Community Center from the golf clubhouse

The district's rental page lists the Community Center gym and dance studio at 75 East Richmond Street, while Twin Lakes Golf Club's clubhouse is at 400 West 59th Street with its own reservation contact. The clubhouse is listed for 55 occupants, and the studio for a smaller group. Those distinctions matter when combining dining, a presentation and photographs. A design suitable for the gym should not be transferred unchanged to a smaller room.

Preserve the activity purpose of the gym or studio

If a corporate or club event includes movement, games or a presentation, map that activity before placing balloon supports. Ask the district which parts of the floor can hold event equipment and whether another program shares the access route. A welcome feature near an approved gathering point can identify the celebration without shrinking the usable activity space. Include all additional tables and rentals in the same drawing, rather than evaluating the decor in isolation.

Route clubhouse questions to the clubhouse

The Twin Lakes listing provides a separate clubhouse contact, so confirm the event arrangement there rather than relying on a Community Center answer. Ask for the furnished layout, serving position and approved entry for deliveries. A smaller reception may need one integrated photo-and-welcome focal point instead of multiple installations. Keep the West 59th Street destination on the brief to avoid confusion with the park district's Richmond Street offices and facilities.

Frequently asked questions

Are the Community Center and Twin Lakes clubhouse at the same address?

No. The rental page lists Community Center spaces at 75 East Richmond Street and the clubhouse at 400 West 59th Street. Use the booked facility's address and contact in the decor request, not a general park-district administrative address.

Can a gym-scale balloon feature work in the clubhouse?

Only after a new layout review. The district lists the clubhouse for 55 occupants, while the gym is a different rental format. Seating and service reduce the space available for decor. Send the clubhouse arrangement before assuming a large activity-floor installation will fit.
