A Bellwood host may book a district venue across town lines
Memorial Park District is an independent governing body, not simply a department of the Village of Bellwood. Its about page provides a dedicated picnic and room rental contact and explains an expanded resident-rate policy covering several communities. This is useful for family milestone hosts and local organizations comparing spaces, but it does not establish a particular room's availability or event eligibility. Confirm both with the district before building an installation around a presumed Bellwood venue.
Put the facility address on every supplier brief
The district lists Eisenhower Community Center at 700 Speechley Boulevard in Hillside. If that is the selected venue, use that address on the balloon order, catering instructions and equipment collection schedule even when most guests live in Bellwood. Add the room name and entrance approved for deliveries. This avoids an unnecessary stop at a village office or a different district building on installation day.
Ask the rental desk about your event format
A club recognition event, anniversary lunch and company mixer can need very different furniture layouts. The district's published picnic and room rental line is 708-547-3900, extension 4. Ask which space fits the intended activity, whether outside decorators may enter before guests and how furniture arrangements are approved. Once those details are settled, choose a photo backdrop or welcome feature that complements the room instead of dictating its entire layout.

Frequently asked questions
Does a Bellwood address qualify for district resident pricing?
The district's expanded policy includes Bellwood residents, with exceptions for programs specifically excluded from that policy. Ask the rental office how it applies to your exact booking and what documentation it needs. A decorator cannot confirm the district's rental classification on your behalf.
Should we send Bellwood or Hillside as the event location?
Send the complete address of the booked facility. A Bellwood-hosted event at Eisenhower Community Center would use the center's Hillside address for logistics. Include the host's billing information separately so it does not get mistaken for the delivery destination.
