Separate Mayfair's banquet identity from the district office
Westchester Park District's public information document lists the Community Center at 10201 Bond Street and Mayfair Recreation & Banquet Center at 10835 Wakefield Street. It also describes banquet facilities among the district's offerings. That establishes a local planning lead, not a room contract or decoration policy. Confirm the event room and venue contact before assigning a delivery address, seating plan or balloon backdrop location.
Ask for the Mayfair room plan, not just the building name
For a retirement dinner, wedding-related gathering or staff celebration, request the specific banquet-room layout from the district. Show the intended head table, presentation position and photography area together. A facility with banquet uses still needs room-specific review for supports, entrances and installation access. Do not interpret the district's general facilities description as a promise of catering, furniture quantities or an unrestricted vendor schedule.
Keep an activity booking separate from a banquet booking
The district also describes recreation programming, a fitness center and outdoor facilities. If your organization is combining an activity with a reception, identify which building and area handles each portion. Avoid directing guests or décor suppliers to the Bond Street Community Center when the reception is at Mayfair. A single event timeline should include any movement between locations and the host responsible at each stop.

Frequently asked questions
Is the source about Westchester County parks?
No. It is Westchester Park District's own public information for Cook County, Illinois. Use the Illinois venue address and district agreement; New York county picnic rules are not relevant evidence for a Mayfair or Bond Street event.
Where is Mayfair Recreation & Banquet Center listed?
The district document lists 10835 Wakefield Street, separate from the Community Center on Bond Street. Verify the room and approved entrance with district staff before sending delivery instructions, especially if the organizer has been using only the district's office address.
