Resolve the Pavilion name before selecting an installation

Elk Grove Park District describes the Jack A. Claes Pavilion as a large community center with several rental areas. The carousel room is listed for gatherings of up to 100 and is rented with Jumps n' Jiggles, while pool rentals have their own booking contact. Those distinctions affect more than theme: activity entrances, participant movement and the usable gathering area can differ substantially. A general request for a 'Pavilion arch' needs a room-level conversation.

Let the carousel remain the visual centerpiece

If the carousel room is the approved venue, consider how the existing attraction will appear in photographs before adding another dominant shape. A restrained welcome or celebration backdrop can define your group without competing with the room's defining feature. Ask staff where equipment may stand and keep activity approaches clear. Confirm current availability as well; renovation notices or program schedules may affect a rental even when the general facility page remains online.

Separate the dry celebration from aquatic use

For a pool-related event, ask which dry area is included for gathering, food or photographs and whether decor is allowed there. A pool reservation does not tell us where a freestanding installation belongs. Show the transition between the activity and celebration areas in the plan, keeping supports away from wet circulation. For a meeting or social function elsewhere in the Pavilion, use that room's own access instructions instead of the pool's booking assumptions.

Frequently asked questions

Does 'the Pavilion' mean an outdoor shelter?

Not necessarily in Elk Grove Village. The Jack A. Claes Pavilion is a large community center with distinct rental areas. Include the exact room or attraction on your request so dimensions, access and the intended gathering area are not confused with an outdoor pavilion.

Can one design cover the carousel room and a pool event?

They need separate reviews. The district lists them as different rental areas, and the carousel room is paired with Jumps n' Jiggles. Confirm the approved dry decorating location, guest movement and current rental availability for the specific option before choosing the installation.
