Design within the room or pavilion actually reserved
The district's rental page lists a party room only in conjunction with a gym rental and states that pavilion rentals cover the pavilion alone, not playgrounds, fields or other recreation areas. Those are important scope limits. For a corporate social, family celebration or sports recognition event, mark the reserved area first. Then place the balloon focal point, tables and presentation space within it instead of building a plan around adjacent amenities.
Give a gym event a clear celebration zone
If the program alternates games with awards or refreshments, distinguish the athletic floor from the social area in the proposed layout. The district lists separate athletic and special-event gym uses, so describe your complete program when booking. Ask whether the party room arrangement fits your plans rather than assuming it is independently available. A backdrop near the speaking position should not become an obstacle when the active portion begins.
Keep the pavilion footprint and delivery route realistic
Frankfort's rules say pavilion rental does not include other park areas and prohibit public motor vehicles off designated roadways. Discuss the walking route from unloading to the shelter before choosing bulky rental pieces. Keep the balloon design within the approved pavilion boundary and leave access to the public amenities unobstructed. For a larger gathering, ask about special-event review early rather than expanding beyond the shelter on arrival.

Frequently asked questions
Does a Frankfort pavilion rental include the playground?
No. The district explicitly says the pavilion rental includes only the pavilion, while other recreation areas remain public. A family or company event can acknowledge those nearby amenities without placing exclusive-use signs or decorative barriers around them.
Can we book the party room without a gym?
The published rental table lists the party room only with gym rental. Confirm the current arrangement with district staff before designing a standalone party-room event. If you need a seated presentation or reception, ask which independent room best fits the program.
