Locate the picnic within Main Park's many activities
Mokena Community Park District lists Main Park at 10925 LaPorte Road. The site includes a lighted pavilion in a wooded picnic area, a Program Center, sports facilities, playgrounds and a wooded walking trail. The district also identifies it as a location for concerts, markets, camps and other events. Before sizing decor, establish which part of the property is reserved and whether other scheduled activity will affect guest arrival or supplier unloading.
Use the wooded picnic setting without relying on trees
A pavilion gathering can have a strong visual identity through a self-contained welcome or photo arrangement. Ask what supports and attachment methods are permitted instead of assuming the surrounding trees or pavilion structure can hold a garland. Keep the design's base footprint in the submitted plan. Coordinate tables and food service so a wooded picnic atmosphere does not become a reason to scatter event materials along the trail.
Account for programs beyond your guest list
The Main Park page identifies preschool, dance and arts space alongside sports and larger community activities. Check with the district about the schedule surrounding your reservation rather than assuming the park is quiet at your preferred time. Specify a meeting point for the host and delivery team, and use clear event identification. A balloon display should distinguish your gathering without resembling signage for an unrelated park program or community festival.

Frequently asked questions
Is 'Main Park' enough information for a Mokena delivery?
Add 10925 LaPorte Road plus the exact reserved area and approved unloading instructions. The property includes administrative and program facilities as well as the pavilion and sports areas. Suppliers need the destination within the park, not just its main address.
Can we use the walking trail for an extended balloon entrance?
Do not assume so. The official page identifies the trail as a park amenity, not as included rental space. Ask the district whether your specific proposal is permitted; otherwise keep the arrival display at the authorized gathering point and leave the trail clear.
