Match the Johnsburg park to the gathering, not just the nearest pin
The village lists Hiller Park at 5500 Skyhawk Lane with fields, a concession stand, playground and shelter. Rescue Squad Park on Johnsburg Road also has a shelter, while Running Brook Farm Park at the end of Talismon Lane lists basketball and playground equipment. A listed shelter is a reason to ask about event use, not proof of a reservation. Have the village identify the available area and its conditions before defining your decorative footprint.
Keep a team celebration separate from playing areas
At Hiller Park, a recognition event may be connected to baseball, softball or soccer activity. Ask whether the shelter and fields are scheduled independently and where equipment may be staged. A balloon photo point should face the gathering without sending guests onto an active field. Include the route between concessions, tables and photographs in the layout so the celebration does not interrupt other park users.
Do not assume every neighborhood park has covered space
Running Brook Farm Park's village listing does not identify a shelter. If that is your preferred location, ask what event use is possible and whether any temporary equipment is allowed before promising guests a covered celebration. Sunnyside Memorial Park lists a shelter and several sports amenities, but it needs its own availability inquiry. Changing parks should trigger a fresh access and display plan, not just a new delivery address.

Frequently asked questions
Which Johnsburg parks list shelters?
The village directory lists shelters at Hiller Park, Rescue Squad Park and Sunnyside Memorial Park. This confirms an amenity, not private-event availability. Ask the village about the particular date, guest count and balloon installation before treating any of those shelters as reserved.
What location details matter for Hiller Park?
Use the published address, 5500 Skyhawk Lane, and specify the approved shelter or gathering area. Add a marked unloading point and note whether the celebration follows a sports event. The park address alone does not tell a supplier which field or pedestrian route to avoid.
