Use Horse Fair Park's serving amenities without crowding them
The village lists Horse Fair Park at 8105 Blivin Street with a rental pavilion containing refrigeration, cooking appliances, a bar, running water and picnic tables. It also notes horse-show activity on certain summer dates. Hatchery Park, at 2314 Hatchery Road, is described for fishing, picnicking and hiking. For a company outing or extended-family celebration, these differences affect the venue conversation: meal logistics at one site and shared natural-space circulation at the other.
Draw the pavilion's service side before the photo side
At Horse Fair Park, confirm which listed appliances and serving features are included and operational for the booking. Keep the proposed balloon feature clear of the refrigerator, cooking area, bar and routes used for carrying food. A photo backdrop should gather guests without trapping the serving team behind a queue. Ask for current photographs and the approved table arrangement so the design reflects the actual pavilion rather than an empty-event-space assumption.
Check the park calendar and the particular closing conditions
The village notes public horse events and publishes different park operating information, so confirm the conditions for your exact date and site. A private gathering should not assume exclusive use beyond its reservation. At Hatchery Park, ask about the approved pavilion area, access and applicable parking arrangements rather than copying Horse Fair's instructions. Keep nature trails and recreation approaches outside the decorative footprint and agree on a complete removal plan.

Frequently asked questions
Are Horse Fair Park and Hatchery Park interchangeable rental settings?
No. The village describes Horse Fair's pavilion with substantial serving amenities, while Hatchery Park is a fishing, picnicking and hiking setting with its own rental information. Confirm the chosen site and included area before applying any layout or access instructions.
Could a horse-show date affect our pavilion planning?
The village notes that public horse events occur at Horse Fair Park on some summer dates. Ask staff about your proposed date and how activities may coexist. Do not assume the private reservation gives your group exclusive use of every approach or surrounding area.
