Plan Oakwood Park's pavilion separately from its neighboring buildings
The village places Oakwood Park at 4450 W. Oakwood Lane, near the recreation center, historical society, community garden and public library. Its rental page lists a picnic pavilion, long picnic tables, grills, sports amenities and portable restrooms. This gives hosts a concrete basis for planning, but the adjacent institutions are not automatically part of a park booking. Keep guest directions and supplier instructions focused on the reserved park area.
Work with the existing picnic-table arrangement
The village describes eight-foot pavilion tables seating ten. Before adding decorative tables or a large balloon wall, ask how many tables are assigned and whether they can be moved. An end-of-pavilion feature may preserve dining space better than an arch across a busy serving route. For a company gathering, leave a separate place for check-in so arriving attendees do not queue between guests already seated with food.
Do not use the recreation building as an assumed backup
Because the published amenities tie community-center access to building hours, ask exactly what indoor access accompanies your reservation. Confirm restroom arrangements for the event period and whether there is any approved weather alternative. A nearby building is not automatically a storage room, dressing area or rain venue. If the outdoor installation cannot proceed, the host needs a separately agreed fallback rather than an improvised move into public space.

Frequently asked questions
Does Oakwood Park rental include the library or recreation building?
The village describes those neighboring destinations but does not make them part of every pavilion rental. Its amenities note limits tied to recreation-building hours. Confirm the exact areas included in the agreement before directing guests indoors or planning to store decorations there.
What should we send for an Oakwood pavilion layout?
Send the reservation confirmation for 4450 W. Oakwood Lane, the assigned pavilion area and the expected table arrangement. Identify catering, check-in and any sports activity. That allows the balloon feature to complement the existing picnic setup rather than reducing space needed for meals and circulation.
