Choose the correct Posen pavilion and event category

The district identifies Memorial Park Pavilion at 14200 S. Campbell Avenue and Commissioners Park Pavilion at 14701 S. Sacramento Avenue. Its process requires bringing the application and full payment to the office at Memorial Park. The office location and event location may therefore differ. Keep those details separate, and tell the operator what the celebration involves rather than assuming all events qualify because a pavilion is available.

Build around a contained family-event footprint

For an anniversary picnic or graduation gathering, use the reserved pavilion's table arrangement to locate the balloon feature. Posen's rental guidance prohibits alcohol and bounce houses, so do not design a package that depends on either. If other equipment is proposed, describe it individually to staff. A freestanding photo position and coordinated meal area can give the celebration definition without expanding into an unapproved activity zone.

Keep application, delivery and collection instructions distinct

Paperwork goes to the Memorial Park office, but a Commissioners Park event belongs at the Sacramento Avenue address. Put the reservation's pavilion name on every supplier instruction. The district lists a daily event window of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; confirm how vendor work fits within the agreement. Do not assume that a once-per-day booking permits equipment to remain in the park overnight.

Frequently asked questions

Can a business book a Posen pavilion for a promotional event?

The checked page describes pavilion rentals for family events. Ask the district directly about a business promotion, fundraiser or public program before selecting the site. This guide does not extend the published rental category or promise that a non-family event will be approved.

Which address is used for Commissioners Park delivery?

The district lists Commissioners Park Pavilion at 14701 S. Sacramento Avenue. Memorial Park is where the rental application and payment are taken, and it has its own pavilion. Use the booked pavilion's address, not the application office, for decorator and catering deliveries.
