Keep the barn, building and FieldTurf briefs distinct
Streamwood Park District lists Hoosier Grove Barn separately from Hoosier Grove Park, and its Community Center listing identifies a two-floor building. The rental page also describes indoor FieldTurf for leagues, practices and private rentals. This range is useful for personal and corporate events, but the category you reserve controls the next questions. Identify whether guests are attending a reception, participating in activities or moving between approved spaces before planning a decorative entrance, photo area and supporting event furniture.
Treat the barn and surrounding park as separate permissions
For a Hoosier Grove Barn event, use the venue's approved room and outdoor-use plan rather than assuming a barn booking grants the entire park. The directory identifies Hoosier Grove Park separately at 700 West Irving Park Road. Ask where vendors should meet the venue contact and whether exterior decor is allowed. Inside, develop the focal point around the confirmed seating and service arrangement without relying on attachment to the building's structural features.
Plan a sports celebration away from the playing surface
If your gathering involves the Community Center's FieldTurf, ask which area can host refreshments, awards and photographs. Keep freestanding decor and rental furniture out of active play unless the operator specifically approves a different event configuration. The building's two-floor description also makes access questions important: identify the actual destination and carry route before selecting large assembled pieces. A private athletic rental should not be assumed to include every room needed for a reception.

Frequently asked questions
Is Hoosier Grove Barn the same reservation as Hoosier Grove Park?
The district lists them as distinct rental-directory entries. Confirm the scope on your actual agreement, particularly if the event includes exterior photographs or a park gathering. Do not extend a barn installation into surrounding park space without the operator's approval.
Can balloons be installed around a FieldTurf activity?
Discuss the proposed location with the district first. Its rental page advertises FieldTurf for athletic and private use, not unrestricted decoration of the playing surface. A separate approved welcome or awards area may be more appropriate than placing a display beside ongoing play.
