Keep Rakow Center and Randall Oaks bookings distinct
The district's facility-rental page covers several properties: Rakow Center is at 665 Barrington Avenue in Carpentersville, while Randall Oaks Recreation Center is in West Dundee. That shared webpage can make a casual venue reference ambiguous. Include the street address and selected room in the event brief. At Rakow, the listed multipurpose choices include the Sleepy Hollow, Carpentersville and Algonquin rooms; their full-room and half-room arrangements need different display footprints.
Place the celebration outside the active game area
If your Rakow booking includes a gym activity followed by refreshments, ask which room will hold food and photographs. The district describes gyms for recreation and separate rooms for meals or socializing. Keep a freestanding photo display away from ball movement and athletic equipment. A small recognition zone in the gathering room may do more for a company outing than a large installation at the edge of an active court.
Resolve kitchen and room use together
The Rakow listing offers a full room with kitchen and a half-room option. Confirm which arrangement is on the contract before pairing balloon décor with serving tables or other rentals. Leave staff and caterers a workable approach to food service, and obtain permission for any decorative supports. The district also prohibits smoking and alcohol in the facility, so an event concept requiring a bar should be reconsidered before styling begins.

Frequently asked questions
Is a Dundee Township booking necessarily in Carpentersville?
No. The same rental page includes Rakow Center in Carpentersville and Randall Oaks Recreation Center in West Dundee. Send the confirmed property address and room name so delivery planning does not rely on a district name shared by several locations.
Can balloons remain between separately booked event sessions?
Do not plan storage or unattended décor without written facility approval. Share the complete sequence of room use and access times with the operator. The rental listing describes availability around existing use, not an entitlement to leave installations in a room between reservations.
