Use the Bartels Park intersection, not a district-office address
Dundee Township Park District serves multiple communities, and its park page includes contact information for facilities in Carpentersville and West Dundee. Those administrative addresses are not the delivery destination for Bartels Park. Put the East Dundee intersection and the actual shelter location on your event brief. A marked map helps distinguish the site from similarly named parks or a recreation center elsewhere in the district.
Make the shelter the event's visual anchor
For an anniversary picnic or team appreciation gathering, ask whether the picnic shelter can be reserved and which nearby space comes with the booking. Position a proposed balloon focal point where guests can recognize the gathering from the approved approach. Do not infer capacity, tables or electrical service from the shelter listing; confirm those separately before combining décor with catering, presentations or other rental equipment.
Account for the playground and basketball court
Bartels Park's listed amenities suggest that people may move between conversation and recreation throughout the event. Keep the photo area out of the direct route to the playground and away from basketball activity. Request a current wide-angle site photo rather than a close-up of the shelter alone. That view lets the host and decorator consider surrounding movement instead of designing an attractive but inconvenient obstruction.

Frequently asked questions
Should delivery go to the Rakow Center for a Bartels Park event?
No, not unless you have specifically arranged a different handoff. The park page lists district facility contacts, but William C. Bartels Park itself is at Barrington Avenue and Water Street in East Dundee. Supply the event location explicitly.
Does the park page establish private rental permission?
It confirms the picnic shelter and other amenities, not your event's approval. Ask Dundee Township Park District about reservation availability, boundaries and outside decorations, then share the agreed placement before finalizing the size of an installation.
