Distinguish Arrowhead from Heritage Crossing
The Channahon Park District identifies Arrowhead Community Center on West Eames Street and Heritage Crossing Field House on West Sioux Drive. The municipal facility directory also identifies Arrowhead and links back to the park district. These listings establish useful location context, not room availability or decoration permission. For a private event, obtain the actual room assignment and use conditions from the operator before deciding how a balloon focal point and any accompanying rental furniture should fit.
Give vendors the venue, not the administration shorthand
If your paperwork or email thread simply says Channahon Park District, replace that shorthand in the production schedule with the confirmed building and room. Put the host's meeting point alongside the address, especially when multiple vendors arrive for catering, decor and entertainment. At Arrowhead, ask which entrance serves your booked space. A municipal directory calendar should not be interpreted as a promise that a room or vendor-access period is available.
Separate sport activity from the recognition moment
If your event uses Heritage Crossing Field House, explain whether the brief is tied to activity space or a separate gathering area. A team-photo feature needs a place where participants can pause without conflicting with the event's active component. For a staff recognition event, the emphasis may instead be on seating and speaker visibility. Have the operator identify the approved installation zone before selecting the width of an arch or backdrop.

Frequently asked questions
What addresses distinguish the two Channahon facilities?
The district lists Arrowhead Community Center at 24856 West Eames Street and Heritage Crossing Field House at 24935 West Sioux Drive. Include the named building on the request, then add your room and approved unloading directions; neither address alone identifies an event setup location.
Does the municipal Arrowhead listing confirm that I can decorate there?
No. The village directory identifies Arrowhead and points to the park district, but a directory listing is not a rental agreement. Ask the district to confirm your particular booking, decor conditions and access, then use that information to develop the installation plan.
